Interested In Joining DFID’s Graduate Scheme?

Are you a recent graduate? Are you interested in working for the UK’s Department for International Development? Here’s you chance! Today DFID launched its new graduate scheme – a paid, 50 week development programme offering a diverse range of opportunities in areas from humanitarian response to private sector development.

Successful candidates will undergo a structured development programme including personalised induction and training, e-learning, a mentor, and you will be able to apply for internal jobs while you are placed with DFID.

The programme is now open for applications until 20 March 2012. New recruits will start in September this year and be based in either DFID’s London or Glasgow offices.

  1. I am seeking a training program as such but am not an EU/UK citizen. However, I do have the possibility of acquiring an EU Work Visa in the coming spring. Is there a different route to enter this program or similar program to which someone could direct me?
