Join the Business Fights Poverty Climate Series 2025: Putting People at the Centre of Climate Action

Join this Collaborative Effort to Turn Climate Ambition into Social Impact

Business Fights Poverty’s 2025 Climate Series spotlights how businesses can drive climate action while prioritising people. Join global leaders exploring how to deliver just transitions, invest in resilience, and ensure no one is left behind. Through insights, case studies, and live events, the series supports practical, people-centred climate solutions across industries and geographies.

As the world prepares for COP30 in Belém, Brazil, we’re excited to announce the Business Fights Poverty Climate Series 2025, in partnership with Fundação Dom Cabral (FDC), one of Brazil’s leading business schools.

Building on our Climate Summits during COPs since 2021, we will again shine a spotlight on how businesses are putting people at the centre of climate action. Across the week (11–19 November 2025), we’ll share real stories, practical solutions, and leadership examples of how companies and their partners are driving social impact through climate-positive action, from nature-based solutions and just transitions to sustainable livelihoods and community resilience.

As with all our events, we’ve designed it to be inclusive and accessible to everyone. Whether you’ll be in Belém or anywhere in the world, you can take part through our rich blend of articles, interviews, podcasts, video highlights and hybrid events.

All content will live on a dedicated Climate Series microsite on the Business Fights Poverty website, open to our global community and promoted across social media.

The Climate Series will include:

  • Curated content from across the Business Fights Poverty community and FDC, featuring articles, podcasts, short interviews, and video stories recorded in Belém and beyond.

  • A live hybrid workshop on Wednesday 19 November (3:00–4:30pm GMT / 12:00–1:30pm BRT) taking place both online and at FDC’s campus in Brazil. This interactive session will connect global and local voices to explore how we can scale business-led climate solutions that deliver for people and planet.

How you can get involved:

  • Amplify your work: Share an article by November 5th highlighting how your organisation is advancing people-centred climate action. You will find the guidelines here.

  • Engage with our global audience: Join the live online workshop on 19 November, connecting directly with peers from around the world. Register here.

We invite you to be part of this collaborative effort to turn climate ambition into social impact. Together, we can build a more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable future, one where people and planet thrive side by side.

Let’s help make COP30 a milestone for climate and human impact. Join us for the Business Fights Poverty Climate Series 2025 and be part of a global conversation that matters.
