Our workshop explored “How do you create a sustainable and ethical supply chain for decarbonisation? Lessons from mining”, emphasising the need for transparency, stakeholder engagement, and fair sharing of burdens and benefits. Participants discussed the role of comprehensive audit processes, such as the IRMA Standard for Sustainable Mining, in providing reassurance beyond ESG reporting.
