THANK YOU

It’s been and continues to be a challenging year for many of us. We’re so proud of how this community has stood up in this moment, in the face of personal stress and organisational disruption, to support the most vulnerable people and communities. As the novelist, James Lane Allen so powerfully said, “Adversity does not build character, it reveals it”.

2021 will be the year of rebuilding better, and like many of you, we have been reflecting a lot on how we ourselves can learn and grow from the experience of 2020. We’ll share more in the New Year about the improvements we are making.

In the meantime, we hope you can take a moment over the coming days to pause and relax.

To help, here is a compilation of the music from our events this year. Early on, we made a commitment to support local artists, recognising the impact of cancelled in-person events and closed venues. We hope you enjoy the skill, passion, and energy they brought to our conversations about Rebuilding Better.

Thank you for all your support and engagement this year.

See you in 2021!

Zahid, Yvette, Katie, Amy, Natasha, Annabel, Sofia, Michael, Daniel, Alice, Richard, David, and the rest of the Business Fights Poverty team.
