I'm located between Sydney and Cambodia, writing my PhD thesis on the role of social enterprise in local and regional development in Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia.
Interests include community economies, process analysis, resource flows, Asset Based Community Development, patron client relations and the subject positions of active economic citizens.
I have lived in Cambodia for nearly three years and coordinated the DelPHE Social Enterprise Project in partnership between the Royal University of Phnom Penh, the social enterprise Friends International and the University of Bradford in the UK since 2009. I also worked in Cambodia for the NGO Aide et Action on education projects in Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and China, and was previously employed at the University of Bradford as a research associate and lecturer in Development Studies where I took my Masters Degree in International Development.
