Supporting Entrepreneurs in Latin America

SABMiller, has announced the launch of ‘4e, Camino al Progreso’, a major five-year initiative that will benefit over 40,000 entrepreneurs throughout Latin America. The program will provide selected shop owners – or ‘tenderos’ – in six countries (Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Honduras and Peru) with professional training, advice and assistance to support the growth of their businesses and the improvement of their quality of life, as well as the well-being of their families and communities

“Across the region, the tiendas are the heart of their communities: they provide goods and services to millions of people, create jobs and wealth and are the social focal points for the neighbourhood,” stated Karl Lippert, President of SABMiller Latin America. “Through this initiative we hope to assist these entrepreneurs to unlock their full potential so as to improve their situation and that of their families, their business and ultimately of their community.”
