From ‘Immediate Response’ to ‘Building Back Better’: Public Webinar

By Zahid Torres-Rahman, CEO, Business Fights Poverty

Many of us want to make a difference in these unprecedented times, but it can be hard to know when, where and how to take action. To help companies address the challenges posed by the novel coronavirus, Business Fights Poverty will host a webinar to explore the Business and COVID-19 Response Centre, which is designed to guide companies’ immediate response to COVID-19 and efforts to rebuild, with a focus on protecting the most vulnerable.

The Business and COVID-19 Response Centre has been launched by Business Fights Poverty to empower companies to take action in support of their most vulnerable employees, suppliers, customers and communities.

I would like to personally invite you to join a webinar on Thursday 7 May 2.30pm BST / 9.30am EDT / 4.30pm EAT to explore the resources available in our Business and COVID-19 Response Centre. The webinar will support you – sustainability, social responsibility, corporate affairs, human resources and supply chain leaders inside companies – to navigate resources in the Response Centre that can help your company make a difference.

You will hear from the experts behind the Response Framework and Action Toolkits. You will get an overview of how business can address key issues impacting employees and operations. And you will be able to have your questions answered by the experts.

If you are part of a business or an organisation supporting business during these times of global pandemic and you are seeking practical ways to respond to help those most vulnerable – this webinar is for you.
