A growing number of companies are actively looking at how to drive commercial innovation with social impact: new products, services and/or business models that bring benefits to poor people as suppliers, distributors, employees or customers. Building on our previous Challenge, which looked at the know how employees need, this Challenges takes a broader look at the supportive systems that companies can put in place to foster intrapreneurship and innovation with a social impact.
The Challenge will produce a guide for individuals within large companies who are developing system-level initiatives to spur and sustain commercial innovation with social impact. It will help codify and share tools, processes and techniques for supporting innovation.
